On one side - mangling reconciliation, increasing greenhouse targets, excluding United Nations reps, "breaching" the poor, imprisoning black children, striking down enlightened Northern Territory laws, not striking down racist Northern Territory laws, lowering tax on lobster, raising tax on books, increasing funding to private schools, subsidising private health insurance companies, sending in the dogs, embracing conflicts of interest, manipulating referenda, composing party political prologues for our constitution, throttling the public broadcaster, offending the region, unchaining my heart and closing my gap;
On the other side - Kim Beazley and Simon Crean.
